Happy birthday to my beautiful baby boy who is 1 year old today! I can't believe a year ago today I was at the hospital waiting for our son to arrive. What's even crazier is that my best friend had her baby last night. She was born at 1:30 am and I got to be there. It was the most incredible experience and I'm so grateful I could witness it. Some people crinkle their nose about being in the delivery room when someone else's baby is born but I had my best friend in there when our son was born and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's a magical experience and all people are different when it comes to privacy so I've learned you just don't judge. Luckily my best friend is pretty open like me and she wanted me in there with her. She was 6.1 oz and 19" long. Mom and baby are both healthy and happy. What a great day! I'm working on no sleep but it was worth it. I think I have an adreline rush even though I'm tired just from the whole awesome experience. I hope everyone else has a great day today too. I'll be back on tomorrow with more daily food thoughts...
